Knowing that we work closely with a variety of local community projects and organisations on different levels, they asked us whether we had any projects we thought could need the assistance of a Sydney school group to do some building or renovation work.

We discussed the opportunity of refurbishing Kunn’s grandfather’s old house in Kralanh and turn it into a functional supplementary school building and activity centre for the local children in Sampov Lourn.

Fiona, Colin and the guys at Antipodeans liked the idea and pledged their support, and Kunn was very excited.

He told us about his dream to build a school…

The (in)famous road from Poipet to Siem Reap was nearing completion and whilst Sampov Lourn is a beautiful little village in the Cambodian countryside, Mr Kunn’s grandfather’s house still needs a bit of work…
